Macomb, IL – Rich Egger's guest is J.Q. Adams. He is co-director of the 16th annual Dealing With Difference Institute.
The conference will be held May 19 and 20 at the Spoon River College campus in Macomb. The keynote speakers are Dr. Maulana Karenga and Dr. Sut Jhally.
Karenga will give the presentation Uprooting Racism, Rethinking Multiculturalism: Toward an Ethics of Sharing. It begins at 10:00 a.m. on May 19.
Jhally will give two presentations on May 20. At 8:30 a.m., he will talk about Race and the American Dream in the Age of Obama. His presentation at 10:30 a.m. is titled The Joyless Economy: Happiness, Satisfaction and the Market.
