Keokuk Area Medical Equipment and Supply's pharmacy will close on January 7, 2015.
Current clients are being told their prescriptions will be transferred to Walgreen's at that time.
The reason for the closure is not know at this time.
Keokuk Health Systems is the parent organization for KAME. Representatives of Keokuk Health Systems were not available for comment after the closure was announced via email Wednesday afternoon.
The pharmacy is the only aspect of the business that is closing. The medical equipment side, which includes wheelchairs, hospital beds, crutches and walkers, will remain open.
Keokuk Health Systems also oversees Keokuk Area Hospital, the hospital's foundation and Tri-State Medical Group.
The announcement comes as another Keokuk pharmacy, Keasling's Pharmacy and Gifts, will be closing soon.
