Southeast Iowa Results - November 2018 Election

The results are in for the November 2018 elections in southeast Iowa. There will be a mix of new faces and continued leadership throughout Lee, Des Moines, and Van Buren Counties.

IOWA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

DISTRICT 83

  • Jeff Kurtz (D) – 54.6%
  • Jeff Reichman (R) – 45.4%

DISTRICT 84

  • Joe Mitchell (R) – 61.9%
  • Jason Moats (D) – 38.1%

DISTRICT 87

  • Dennis Cohoon (D) (Incumbent) – 56.6%
  • Tim Goodwin (R) – 43.4%

DISTRICT 88

  • Corey Gingerich (NP) – 2%
  • Lanny Hillyard (D) – 43%
  • David Kerr (R) (Incumbent) – 55%

DES MOINES COUNTY

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

  • Laura Blanchard (D) – 48.0%
  • Tom Broeker (R) (Incumbent) – 52.0%
