City of Galesburg

Authorities have arrested a man for a shooting death in Galesburg, two men face charges related to a sexual assault in Macomb, and the investigation continues into an assault in Keokuk.

Galesburg

Police said they arrested Cody Delacruz, 20, of 484 Olive St in the shooting death of a teenager.

Delacruz is charged with involuntary manslaughter.

The victim is Isaiah Stevenson, 18, of 1173 Brown Ave, Galesburg. Police said Stevenson suffered a single gunshot wound. They found him in the basement of the home.

Stevenson was taken to Galesburg Cottage Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said their investigation is continuing.

Macomb

Two Keokuk men face charges in connection with a sexual assault that happened in a Turnberry Village apartment early Saturday.

Bond is $150,000 for Aaron Zetterlund, 22, who is charged with criminal sexual assault. Police said he attacked a woman he knows.

Police also arrested Ethan Deyo, 22, and charged him with unauthorized video recording for taking photos of the assault with his phone.

Police said witnesses intervened to stop the attack. They then called police.

Zetterlund and Deyo are both seniors at Western Illinois University. Zetterlund is a Musical Theatre major. Deyo is majoring in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration.

Keokuk

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said a caller to 911 Tuesday afternoon told them an unresponsive woman had been found on the floor of the home at 2544 Hilton Road.

The 45-year old victim was transported to Keokuk Area Hospital where she was treated and released. Her name has not been released.

The owner of the home at 2544 Hilton Road is listed as Gina Sisk.  She is the woman who faces three lawsuits in two counties for allegedly sexually assaulting underage female students.

Sisk is currently on administrative leave from the Keokuk School District.
