Bushnell, IL – The Bushnell-Prairie City school district will work to increase parental involvement during the coming school year. Superintendent David Messersmith says the move will help the district comply with requirements of the No Child Left Behind act. He says the district will also investigate a wellness program for students. Messersmith says the other part of the district's goals will be to review its current programs in light of less income from state grants and a drop in assessed valuation.
