For just $5, attendees will receive pancakes, bacon and a beverage. Tickets may be purchased from any Chorus member or at the door on the day of the event. Proceeds from the event will be used for the 2018-19 concert season.
Sponsors of this season’s concerts include Blick Art Materials, OSF Healthcare, the Register-Mail, Walmart, Wells Fargo, the Galesburg Community Foundation, the City of Galesburg, and the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
The Galesburg Community Chorus, directed by Dr. Tim Pahel, is the oldest community music organization in the Galesburg area and is currently celebrating its 74th anniversary. It was founded in 1945 at Knox College, and the chorus retains its affiliation with the college, which provides rehearsal facilities.
