Nov 22, 2019

Eight people face federal criminal charges for their alleged involvement in what’s described as a "large drug trafficking operation" in Burlington.

The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa said five people were arrested Tuesday during the execution of nearly a dozen search warrants. They made their initial appearances in federal court Wednesday morning.

  • Kendrick Page – 36 – arrested in West Burlington, Iowa

  • Breon Armstrong – 18 – arrested in Burlington, Iowa
  • Tristan Davis – 34 – arrested near Ottumwa, Iowa
  • James Miles Jr. – 34 – arrested in Forrest Hill, Texas.

The identities of the other three people facing federal drug and weapons charges were not released because they were not yet in police custody. Three other people were taken into custody during the raids on unrelated warrants.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said the federal charges against the eight carry maximum prison sentences of 40-years to life  without the possibility of parole.
