Cloverleaf Begins Hiring Process

T.J. Carson

More than 150 jobs will be available at the Cloverleaf Cold Storage Facility that will soon open in Monmouth.

The first chance for people to grab one of the positions will be Saturday, February 7, 10:00 a.m. at the Monmouth Armory.

For those unable to attend the fair, Cloverleaf will set up an office at the AmericInn to accept in-person applications starting Tuesday, February 10.

The Cold Storage facility is scheduled to open in April.  It will be a distribution center for Smithfield-Farmland Foods.

Cloverleaf owner Adam Feiges said the company is looking to hire in three areas.

“We’re looking to hire warehouse specialists -- people working out on the dock.  We’re looking to hire CSR -- customer service representatives, that’s the office folks.  And we’re also looking for quality supervisory staff,” Feiges said.

Training will be provided for the jobs.

Feiges said the hiring will be staggered over a period of about two weeks in March.

He said there is potential for more job growth at the facility in the future.

“We talked earlier about the notion that we could add an addition to this facility at some point.  We got the room and the plans are already designed for that,” Feiges said.
