FMPD Arrest Nebraska Man for Terrorism Threat

A former employee at Scott's Company in Fort Madison was arrested in connection with a bomb threat at the plant last fall. William Cochenour II, 23, of Tecumseh, Neb. is charged with Threat of Terrorism, which is a class D felony.

Authorities say a message was found on Nov. 25, 2015 stating there was an explosive device within the building. Employees were evacuated and the plant was temporarily shut, but no device was found.

Cochenour II was working for Scott's at the time of the threat, but he is no longer with the company.  He was arrested Saturday.

A Class D Felony carries with it a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a fine of up to $7,500.
