A fire at 732 ½ West Carroll Street heavily damaged a home. Authorities were called to the scene on Tuesday at 6:45 a.m.
Police Chief Jerel Jones said no one was injured during the fire, though authorities are investigating a physical altercation that happened at about the same time at that location.
Investigators have not determined what started the fire.
