Law enforcement has released more details about a fatal stabbing in Keokuk Tuesday night. Adam McCain, 24, of Keokuk is charged with First Degree Murder.
He is accused of killing Calove Sackman of Keokuk. The criminal complaint against McCain states he had a long-term relationship with Sackman.
McCain allegedly told investigators he was riding in a vehicle when he became upset with her. He eventually stabbed her multiple times.
Sackman was taken to the hospital, but she died because of her injuries.
McCain could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted.
