Poynterreported that more and more journalists have either abandoned Twitter or at least cut back on how much they use it.
Poynter said reporters view Twitter as a valuable resource for finding information and sharing information, but reporters also feel they can fall victim to its less savory aspects such as engaging in petty squabbles and dealing with bigotry and bad-faith attacks from anonymous users.
