The former president of a volunteer organization that built an accessible playground in Keokuk was arrested Wednesday morning. Tyler McGhghy, 36, of rural Keokuk is charged with one count of theft and four counts of forgery.

The groundbreaking for Keokuk's fully accessible playground brought out more than 50 people in April.  The K-PLAY Committee wants to see even more people turn out for a public forum Tuesday night.

The longer Matt McGhghy spoke about Bentley's Playground, the more emotional he became as he fought back tears of joy.  McGhghy says it's amazing how his hometown has gotten behind the effort to build a fully-accessible playground in Tolmie Park.
