Southeastern Community College has installed multiple solar arrays in the past year at its campus in Keokuk. It now plans to do the same in West Burlington.

Two former Southeastern Community College employees claimed they were forced to leave their jobs due to harassment and hostile work environments. They filed their lawsuits in south Lee County District Court on the same day, but are alleging different reasons for their departures.

The men's basketball team at Southeastern Community College is beginning 2017 with a new head coach, following the retirement of Terry Carroll after ten years at the helm. Assistant Coach Lorenzo Watkins has been named Interim Head Coach.

Southeastern Community College (SCC) is selling its Fort Madison Center to Harmony Bible Church for $230,000. The Board of Trustees, this week, approved the sale of the one-story brick building at 1602 Ave. F.

SCC's Board of Trustees has now voted to terminate the contracts of four faculty members in the last week, the latest of which occurred Monday night. President Michael Ash said all four have requested private hearings with the board.
