Lewistown, IL – Since Lewistown has no Senior Center, volunteer Donna Davis decided to start one. With the backing of the mayor, she got permission to use the town's community center for one day and one evening a week for senior activities. Davis says the opening will be Wednesday, June 5. She's purchased some table games and cards, and plans for basic refreshments. Davis says if 20 people show up, that's 20 people who are being helped.
