Macomb, IL – The 20th Annual Macomb Balloon Rally drew pilots from around the region. During the rally, reporter Alex Degman learned what it's like to float several hundred feet above Macomb. Degman's ride took him from the west end of the Georgetown subdivision west of Macomb to the Farm King parking lot on the east side. He rode in the balloon "Sky Walker." Pilot Dan Walker was originally interested in sailing but became interested in ballooning after attending the Macomb Balloon Rally a number of years ago. Walker earned his pilot's license 10 years ago and says he's been creating memories for people ever since.
