Warren County to Get More Housing

Monmouth, IL – The Warren County Board has approved partnering with several organizations to build new single-family housing. Kay Gregg of Rural Partners says funding should be released early next year. Yet to be determined is how many homes will be built. Gregg says the goal is to spread new homes throughout the county. The goal is to construct the homes for those making around $29,000 yearly. She says communities will hold a meeting early next year to see where building lots are available. The first homes could be finished by late next year. Gregg says there will also be meetings to train future homeowners.
