Rushville, IL – Rushville aldermen have approved a ticket system to simplify enforcing city regulations. Mayor Ron Shepherd says city used to send enforcement cases through the court system, which often caused delays. Now he says violaters will be assessed a fine that can be paid at city hall. Shepherd says most of the recent violations involved residents who had not contracted for trash pickup service.
