Lewistown, IL – Fulton County's board chairman would like a comprehensive plan for the county. Ed Ketcham says growth will come along both US Routes 24 and 336. In addition, he says the Illinois River along the southern border of the county will become a focus of nature tourism with the Emiquon Refuge and Banner Marsh. Ketcham says having a plan for the county would prevent placing businesses or homes in inappropriate areas. He says the issue will be discussed by committees.
