Macomb, IL – McDonough County's 9-1-1 Center board is waiting for a completed copy of a contract between the center and the union representing its eight full-time dispatchers. Director Noel Oliver says both sides have generally agreed on major points, but the union has yet to provide a clean copy of the contract with initialed changes included. When signed, the contract will be effective as of Dec. 1, 2006. Oliver says both parties agreed to a four-year agreement so it will not expire at the same time as most other McDonough County labor agreements.
