Rushville, IL – The Schuyler-Industry School District is beginning to see savings from its recent $2 million energy conservation improvements. Superintendent Matt Plater told the board the latest utility bill was about $10,000 less than one one year ago. Plater says the more efficient heating and cooling equipment is augmented by a control system that turns heat down overnight or in rooms that are not being used. Most of the improvements were made in athe Middle and High School building.
