Macomb, IL – There is a new place to see and buy art in Macomb. The gallery is located in New Copperfield's Book Service on the courthouse square. The business has moved into a new location that's nearly twice the size of the previous store. Co-owner Linda Cox plans to use some of that extra space for author readings and small concerts. It will also be used to display the work of one or two artists every month. Cox is hoping to help build a community of arts through the store. The first exhibit features the works of Janice and Dean Rockwell. Cox says the store will get some help from the West Central Illinois Arts Center in programming the exhibits.
