Carthage, IL – The New Illini West high school district will be able to absorb all full-time high school teachers from LaHarpe and Carthage. Superintendent Harold Ford says the new district that will begin operations in July will need only two more teachers. Six part-time teachers from the old districts will also be invied to join the staff. To be based in Carthage, the new district will take high school students graduating from the elementary districts in Dallas City as well as Carthage and LaHarpe.
