Macomb, IL – The Gus Macker three-on-three basketball tournament will come to Macomb this fall. The tournament will be Sept. 15-16 in the downtown area on and around Courthouse Square. Katherine Walker of the Convention and Visitor's Bureau says she's expecting between 100 and 200 teams, each with three players and a substitute. She believes many will stay overnight to take part in two days of play. The courts will be set up on the downtown Square and surrounding streets. She says the tournaments are a community-based family event that should attract visitors as well as players and their families.
