Macomb, IL – In what's become an annual event, demonstrators marched in Macomb's Chandler Park over the weekend to call for an end to the war in Iraq. About 100 people lined the north side of the park (along Route 136) while holding signs reading "We Are The Deciders," "Grandmothers For Peace," and "Imagine A Better Future." The demonstrators said it's important to make sure their voices are heard. After a couple hours, the protestors moved to a nearby church to listen to speeches and music. Reporter Alex Heuer talked to some of the demonstrators and reporter Alex Degman talked to someone who held a separate demonstration in Chandler Park.
