Lee County's Drop-In Center Succeeding

Fort Madison, IA – Lee County's Drop-In Center is busting at the seams . The center, which is located in downtown Fort Madison, has been open for roughly 9 months. CPC Administrator, Ryanne Wood, says 90 different residents with mental health and other developmental disabilities have come to the facility on at least one occasion. She says the center has been such a success, with at least a dozen people in attendance on any given night, that a larger location is needed. The activities at the facility, which is open 5 days a week, 4 hours a day, includes movies, dinners, and dancing.
