Keokuk, IA – Organizers hope an event in Keokuk that combines exercise and lunch will also raise awareness about sexual violence. April 18th is the 1st annual National Walk At Lunch Day. The idea is to encourage people to take the time to start walking toward better health. Tri-State Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Abuse Director, Sue Prochazka, says the Keokuk event will go beyond promoting healthy living. She says it will focus on informing the public about sexual assault. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness month. Prochazka says anyone can take part in the event.
