Bushnell, IL – Bushnell's mayor says regular updates and some new construction will call for higher water and sewer fees. Steve Russell says the coming year's budget is not yet balanced. He says extending water and sewer lines to a new bank and to the Petersen Health Care development will add extra costs. Russell says aldermen are considering an increase of between seven and 10 percent. They're also debating whether to phase the increase in all at once, or over several months.
