Keokuk, IA – All of Lee County's employees will get pay hikes during the upcoming fiscal year.
The Board of Supervisors has approved wage hikes of roughly 3% for all non-union salaried and hourly employees.
The supervisors also authorized a 4% wage hike for themselves and the Sheriff, Attorney, Treasurer, Recorder, and Auditor.
Chairman Larry Kruse says the elected leaders will get more than the non-union workers in the upcoming budget because they received a smaller raise during the current fiscal year.
The board also finalized new three-year contracts with the unions representing employees in the sheriff's office, the secondary roads department, and the administrative unit.
These deals also include roughly three percent wage hikes.
