Hancock County, IL – Three Hancock County school districts will be joining forces for even more high school sports.
The Hamilton, Warsaw, and Nauvoo-Colusa school boards have each approved a co-op agreement in girls basketball and softball for the upcoming school year.
Nauvoo-Colusa School Board President Terry Knoke says the three districts will also co-op all high school sports beginning with the 2008-2009 school year.
Concerns about participation in the girls basketball and softball programs within the three districts were raised during recent school board meetings.
In response, the boards each met in special session to approve the agreements.
Knoke says the agreements must now be approved at the conference level because schedules will be impacted.
Hamilton, Nauvoo-Colusa, and Warsaw will share administrative duties and game locations.
