Keokuk, IA – One of the Democrats running for President says he is going to have to out-work his opponents if he wants to win his party's nomination.
New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson says that unlike some of his opponents, he is not a rock-star with access to large piles of money.
Instead, he told a crowd of about 20 in Keokuk that he is a hard worker who has the credentials and experience needed to lead this country.
Richardson says this campaign is not about raising the most money.
He told the crowd that his first six days as president would include pulling the troops out of Iraq, revamping this country's energy policy, and working to provide health care to every citizen.
He also went off the script a bit and talked about Keokuk's minor league baseball history during his stop.
