Keokuk, IA – The War in Iraq is the top issue one lawmaker has heard about since he recently returned from Washington, DC.
Congress is taking the rest of August off so lawmakers can return home and meet with their constituents.
Congressman Dave Loebsack is wrapping up a tour of his district, which included a stop in Keokuk where he met privately with about a half dozen residents.
The Iowa Democrat says he hears about a variety of topics, both broad and specific, when he returns to the southeast part of the state.
He says constituents have been speaking with him about the war, education, this country's infrastructure, economic development, and universal health care.
