Keokuk, IA – Dozens turned out for the grand opening of a new art gallery in Keokuk.
Lock 19 Gallery is located on the corner of 7th and Main Streets in the city's Cultural and Entertainment District.
Wildlife and historical sculptures, abstracts, paintings, etchings, and jewelry from local, regional, and national artists are on display and for sale.
Artist Margo Swena is one of the owners of the Lock 19 Gallery.
She says the move from Arizona to Keokuk has proved to be very beneficial.
Swena says an expansion is already underway that could double the display space.
She says future showings are also being scheduled.
