Richardson Wants Top Three Finish In Iowa

Fort Madison, IA – One of the Democratic Presidential candidates is counting on a strong showing in the Iowa Caucuses to keep his campaign moving forward.Bill Richardson usually finds himself sitting in fourth place in most polls.

The Governor of New Mexico hopes campaigning in all 99 of Iowa's counties will give him a boost in the Hawkeye state, in the polls and at the caucuses.

That means Richardson would have to defeat either Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama or John Edwards.

Richardson says he has the boldest plan, of the four, for the Iraq War.

He says all U.S. troops should be out of the country in one year so diplomatic discussions could begin.

The Governor made his comments during a campaign stop in Fort Madison.
