Macomb, IL – Two incumbents and one newcomer filed petitions to be on the McDonough County ballot in February.
Newcomer Eric Jameson filed to be in the Republican primary for Coroner. He wants to replace his father, incumbent Larry Jameson, who is retiring.
Incumbent Circuit Clerk Kim Wilson and incumbent State's Attorney James Hoyle also filed during the morning rush.
Incumbent county board candidates Republicans John Lawson, Clark Kelso, Tony Coniglio, Glen Foster, Earl Sims and John Bricker also filed petitions.
Filing runs through Nov. 5.
