Donnellson, IA – Every time the Democratic Presidential Candidates visit Southeast Iowa, they talk about a need for a change in Washington, particularly in the White House.
One of the front-runners says working for positive change is her life.
US Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) used a roughly 40-minute speech in Donnellson, yesterday afternoon, to tout her past work in improving and enhancing health care and education.
She also pledged to require insurance companies to offer coverage to everyone, to provide services for pre-existing conditions, and to promote prevention efforts.
Clinton says the race comes down to finding a candidate that is willing to work for every citizen.
She also talked to the standing room only crowd at the Donnellson Fire Station about her plans to bring the troops home from Iraq, to end No Child Left Behind, and to address global warming.
