Food & Culture From Around The Globe

Macomb, IL – Cultures from around the world can be sampled this weekend without ever leaving the tri-states region.

WIU's International Friendship Club will host its 35th Annual International Bazaar. The theme is "Environmental Sustainability...Our World: Unify and Beautify."

International Friendship Club President Chrystian Vieyra says countries from just about every continent will be represented. He hopes visitors will interact with those at the food and display booths to learn more about other cultures.

The Bazaar is a largely student-run event. It's sponsored by the IFC and Casa Latina Cultural Center.

WIU is home to around 400 international students from 33 different countries.
