Macomb, IL – A major piece of financing has been secured for the new Memorial Hospital in Carthage. Hospital CEO Ada Bair says this is a big step forward for the project.
Bair says the selling of all the bonds has been finalized. Bair says it took nearly 1 month longer than anticipated to issue the more than $20 million in bonds, but says it did not impact the project.
Some of the funding for the new $25.6 million state-of-the-art facility is being raised through a capital campaign. Bair says half of that campaign's $4-million goal has already been reached.
She adds construction is moving along and continues to be right on schedule. Bair says the hospital is set to be completed in May of next year.
