Hamilton, IL – A Hamilton School Board member is facing a sexual abuse charge involving a minor.
The Hamilton Police Department arrested August Dion Gregory, 44, late Saturday night.
He has been charged with Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse with a victim below the age of 18.
More charges may be pending through the Hancock County State's Attorney's office.
Hamilton Police Chief Walter Sellens says Gregory was taken to the Hancock County Jail where he was held until bail was set at $50,000 Monday morning.
Sellens would not comment further when contacted last night.
