Hamilton, IL – The Hamilton Police Department arrested August Dion Gregory, 44, late Saturday night.
Gregory is a member of the Hamilton School Board.
He was originally charged with one count of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse with a victim below the age of 18.
The Hancock County State's Attorney's Office has since filed additional charges.
Gregory now faces three counts of criminal sexual assault (Class 1 Felony), four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse (Class 2 Felony) and one count of criminal sexual abuse (Class 4 Felony).
He faces more than sixty years in prison and tens of thousands of dollars in fines if convicted on all counts.
Gregory is scheduled to appear in court at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, Dec. 8 at the Hancock County Courthouse.
He is currently being held in the Hancock County Jail on $50,000 bail.
