Lee County, IA – Lee County Republicans will meet in three locations.
Keokuk High School will be used by residents in Keokuk's Wards 1-7, Montrose, & Jackson Township.
Those in Fort Madison's Wards 1-5 along with Charleston, Harrison, Jefferson, Des Moines, and Van Buren Townships will meet in Fort Madison Middle School.
The third site, the West Point Public Library, will cover Donnellson and West Point as well as Denmark, Green Bay, & Washington Townships.
Lee County GOP Chairman Don Lucas says registration will begin at each site at 6:00 P.M.
He says the idea is to provide enough time in case someone arrives in the wrong location.
Lucas says people should also bring a photo identification in case there is a problem during registration.
During the caucus, the participants will select convention delegates, craft the party platform and conduct a Presidential straw poll.
Meanwhile, Democrats will meet at Fort Madison High School, Keokuk Middle School and Pilot Grove Savings Bank in Donnellson.
Registration at these sites begins at 6:30 P.M. with the caucus getting started at 7:00 P.M.
Democrats are expected to show their support for President Barack Obama at that time.
