A bestselling children’s author will return to Galesburg this weekend.
Lindsay Currie, a Galesburg native and 1998 graduate of Knox College, is the author of mysteries for young readers, including the Delta Games series and six standalone books.
Currie grew up on Nancy Drew and says she loves a twisty tale. When not writing, she can generally be found looking for an adventure of her own. She recently relocated from Chicago to a farm in downstate Illinois.
She is a No. 1 “New York Times” bestselling author and a “USA Today” bestselling author.
Currie will visit the Galesburg Public Library at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3. She will give a short presentation, then answer questions and sign copies of her books.
Books will be available for purchase at the event courtesy of Wordsmith Bookshoppe.
There will also be a kids-only Meet & Greet with Currie beginning at 2 p.m. Registration is required only for the kids-only Meet & Greet. Please call (309) 343-6118 to register.
Upcoming books by Currie include “The House with No Keys “(October 2025) and X Marks the Haunt (February 2026).
