The Western Illinois Museum welcomes musical artist Dan MacDonald, who performs as Spitzer Space Telescope on Friday, June 16th at 7:00 pm. The Chicago-based visual artist and folk singer will visit Our Front Porch to share his original music and the origins that inspire his songwriting and other artistic projects.

With a deep knowledge of folk music, Dan MacDonald is not content with just sharing his technical skill. His performances draw on music from different cultures and historical periods that are thoughtfully intertwined with pop culture references.

The doors and bar open at 6:30 pm with music beginning at 7:00 pm. There is a suggested $5 donation at the door.
