Des Moines County Conservation invites you to learn about our majestic national bird, the bald eagle, and join the caravan to Lock & Dam 18 for the eagle count.

DMCC will present an informational program at the Port of Burlington Welcome Center at 10 AM; afterward, participants may drive their own vehicles (or carpool with others) to Lock & Dam 18 at Gladstone, IL. Bring your own binoculars if possible; some may be available to share during the program.

This program is free and open to all ages; no registration is required.
