Legacy Theater Showcase 2023

Legacy Theater Showcase 2023
The Legacy Theater 2023 Showcase is Saturday, Feb. 11, a free event at the theater in Carthage.
Social time begins at 6 p.m. with complimentary appetizers, water and a cash bar serving wine and beer. At 6:30 p.m. the program begins.
The showcase is free to anyone in the region, and reservations are not required.
Featured live on stage during the evening will be Duke Oursler of Macomb, country
Americana singer/songwriter; T Heberlein of Quincy, stand-up comedian; and Liz Bentley of Quincy, an up-and-coming country singer. These performers provide a forecast of the kinds of shows that will be featured during the coming year at The Legacy Theater.
A series of videos will give a glimpse of the 2023 schedule, starting with Shawn Gerhard, the Ultimate Garth Brooks, on Saturday, March 11, at 7 p.m.
Other tribute acts planned this year honor Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson and Selena. Three, new non-musical style shows will provide family fun including Puppy Pals, an America’s Got Talent finalist act; Dry Bar Comedy with Bill Boronkay & Andy Beningo, with hilarious family friendly comedy; and Eric Jones, one of only a handful of magicians to have fooled Penn & Teller on their hit show “Fool Us.”
Returning again this year are the Church Basement Ladies with their musical comedy show, “Away in the Basement." Two rising stars fill out The Legacy Theater season – Angie K, country artist of Nashville, and Sal Valentinetti, whose crooning style earned him a golden buzzer to the finals of America’s Got Talent in Season 11.
Tickets to the 2023 season shows will be sold at the showcase and are now available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Legacy Theater Box office, 1160 Buchanan (Rt. 136) in Carthage. Tickets can be purchased at any time on the theater website, thelegacytheater.com, or call 217-357-9479.
