Macomb Harp Day at the MAC

Macomb Harp Day at the MAC
This Sunday, September 17th from 2:00-4:30 PM, the Macomb Arts Center will host the first Macomb Harp Day–an event to hear, play, and learn about harps. The event is free and open to all ages. There will be pop-up concerts featuring solo harp performances and flute and harp duos. At 3:45 PM, there will be a sing-a-long for young children.
A harp petting zoo will be open throughout the afternoon with eight harps for people of all ages to play, learn about, and hear. There will also be a harp ornament decorating station, harp-related door prizes, and refreshments.
If you have ever wanted to hear the harp up close or try to play one, this is your chance! Come hear this beautiful instrument and learn about harps from Paraguay, France, Italy, and all parts of the USA! You can also find out about harp happenings and lessons for children and adults in the Macomb area this fall!
