Based on the novel by Stephen King. After surviving a severe car crash in a remote area, famed novelist Paul Sheldon is rescued by Annie Wilkes, a former nurse who claims to be his "number one fan." However, when Annie discovers that Paul has killed off her favorite character in his latest book, her devotion turns into a terrifying nightmare. Holding him captive in her isolated home, she forces him to write a new novel to bring the character back to life under increasingly brutal conditions. Starring Kathy Bates and James Caan.
