Downtown Burlington, Iowa — Downtown Burlington is inviting the community to celebrate the season with a new, casino-inspired spring event on Friday, March 21, from 10 am to 4 pm.
“Spring Into the Jackpot” replaces the traditional Spring Open House with a playful day of games, themed drinks, prizes and shopping throughout the downtown district. Local boutiques, eateries and service businesses will host interactive activities inside participating locations, encouraging residents to explore and support downtown.
Shoppers are encouraged to dress for a day of casino-themed fun while visiting participating businesses. Activities may include dealing a card for a special discount, rolling dice for prizes and other game-inspired promotions that add excitement to spring shopping.
Select downtown bars and restaurants will also feature themed drinks for the occasion, offering visitors another opportunity to sip, linger and enjoy the downtown atmosphere.
Participants can enter for a chance to win Downtown Dollars, which are redeemable at participating businesses and can be used for future shopping, dining and entertainment experiences.
