Take Back the Night March & Rally March 26
The WIU Women’s Center invites you to stand in solidarity with survivors at the Take Back the Night March & Rally on Thursday, March 26, from 4–9 p.m. beginning at Sherman Hall and continuing to Chandler Park.
This powerful, culminating event of Take Back the Night Week brings students, faculty, staff, and community members together to raise awareness and take a collective stand against sexual and gender-based violence. Through a campus march and rally, we will honor survivors, amplify voices, and reaffirm our shared commitment to building a safer, more supportive community.
Event Schedule:
4 PM – Resource Fair (Sherman Hall)
5–5:30 PM – Rally & Speaking Program (Sherman Hall)
5:50–6 PM – March Begins (to Chandler Park)
Following the March – Speak-Out (Chandler Park)
Take Back the Night is part of a global movement dedicated to empowerment, healing, and advocacy. Your presence helps send a strong message: survivors are supported, and violence has no place in our community. We encourage you to attend, bring a friend, and be part of this important movement.
