The City of Macomb and Western Illinois University have announced that final plans are in place for the annual Independence Day Celebration. The Fireworks display will take place on Vince Grady Field, and the community can enjoy the display by watching from Q-Lot on the Western Illinois University Campus. Q-lot is located on University Drive on the east side of Western Hall. Gates will open at 8 PM and the fireworks display will begin at approximately 9 PM.
